The London Design Awards is designed for the convenience of our entrants by way of online registrations and submissions.
Eligibility
The London Design Awards accepts entries from architects, interior designers, product designers, graphic designers, UX / UI designers and any designers of all background to submit their creative works, whether they are companies, team / departments, innovators, manufacturers, suppliers, freelancers, hobbyists or students.
We welcome submissions from all over the world. Entries must have been produced after 1 January 2021.

Requirements
Entry Brief: Kindly provide a synopsis of your design of approximately 350 words. The brief should strengthen your entry, as well as providing the jury a better understanding of your project. A written translation or adaptation of non-English entries is highly recommended.
Image Submission: The submissions should be saved in a flattened JPEG or JPG format. (Keep them under 4MB, 1,200px wide is preferable, 300dpi, RGB).
Video / Audio Submission: Entries with audio/video must be submitted with a direct URL that will take judges directly to the work: Upload video/audio to Vimeo/YouTube/Youku. Paste the URL link into the URL field.
Winning Levels
There are FOUR (4) levels of achievement in the competition:
Design of the Year (Only ONE highest score point from each category will be recognised as Product / Architectural / Interior / Packaging / Conceptual / UI / UX / Communication or Service Design of the Year.)
Platinum Winner (85-100 points)
Gold Winner (70-84 points)
Silver Winner (50-69 points)
The number of awards presented by London Design Awards is determined by the number of submissions in a given category, the scoring range and the number of tie scores.
Judging Criteria
Judges are senior-level, experienced in their field / industry, including creative designers and art directors from international agencies, architects, interior designers, product designers, and industry professionals. Judges are selected based on experience, credibility and availability. Judging is blind. All entrant information is removed from entries to prevent bias/conflict of interest. Judges score on a scale of 1-100, based on the below criteria: Creativity / Concept / Idea Content / Brief / Objective / Planning / Execution Visual / Design Innovation / Functionality / Effectiveness Impact / Memorability Nominate A Juror

To uphold IAA’s mission, London Design Awards strives to keep the awards financially accessible and its judging process impartial. Combined with our wide-encompassing categories, we make it possible for all exceptional entries to attain advanced recognition.
London Design Awards also keeps its submission process simple, and everything can be completed online. When an entrant wins, they would not need to pay any acceptance fees to have their achievement announced globally.

Deadlines & Fees
All designers are eligible to submit work in-progress, complete or conceptual designs. Winners are determined by one entry, and not an entire body of work, so careful selection should be observed.
The London Design Awards makes every effort to keep entry costs affordable. Rather than charging it per entry, an annual administrative fee is charged to cover costs like printing, mailing and data organisation. For this reason, each participant is charged a flat $30 annual administrative fee. When all participants pay the same low fee, those submitting more than one entry will benefit more.

* You may submit an entry into multiple categories at the same time. The first Category will be charged as per the original submission fee. Additional categories (2 or more) will be charged as such.
* Fees are non-refundable. Withdrawn entries (whether withdrawn by entrant, or by the London Design Awards for entrant's failure to comply with the entry rules) will NOT be refunded.
PROJECT DATE Work submitted must have been created within the last 5 years.
